Coralbells can be tricky to grow in the Northeast. This miniature species is native to the limestone cliffs of northern New Mexico's Sandia mountains. Northeastern gardeners can still enjoy this lovely little evergreen tussock, but it should be planted in a well-drained spot such as a rockery or rock garden.
