Kim Michelle Anderson retired as a financial analyst for the Pennsylvania Department of Education.
Anderson, 63, of New Cumberland, died July 20 at UPMC Pinnacle Harrisburg Hospital after a four-year battle with breast cancer.
She started her career working for 20 years at Eastman Kodak then worked for Ikon, Sun Micro-systems, PennDOT and the state Department of Labor and Industry before moving to the Department of Education.
She was treasurer of a local Department-56 club and founded a card club.
Her family said, “Kim was a fun-loving person and a treasure to all the lives she touched. She always brought joy to her family and friends.”
Surviving are her husband, Edward R. Anderson; her son, Joel A. Anderson of New Cumberland; and two sisters, Karol Hawbecker of Wormleysburg, and Kat Ruddock-Oliver of Riverview, Mich.
