False Aster (Kalimeris incisa 'Blue Star')

Aster-like blooms appear earlier in summer than Asters and continue for many weeks.  The flowers are pale blue and appear in profusion on compact 18" tall foliage in June.  A mid-summer trim will encourage continuous blooms into late summer.  Kalimeris loves heat and humidity and is drought tolerant once established.  Prefers well-drained soil in full sun.
