Alchemilla mollis

Known as the 'Lady mantle' this traditional cottage garden perennial is very adaptable for all sorts of styles, its distinctive leaves look great when covered in morning dew or rain, and its sprays of frothy sulphur yellow flowers are produce from June To August, if cut back after flowering another second flush is possible.

ideal for front of a border it prefers full sun to part shade in moist but well drained soil and will increase steadily. Great with shade loving hosts and ferns, or in a sunny border with geums and geraniums. Its distinctive leaf shade also lends its self well to exotic type plantings with Cannas and bananas etc.
