Height: This perennial can grow from 4 to 8 inches tall.
Habitat: Grows best in dry to well drained soil in full to part sun.
Foliage: Long, oval, green, thick, shiny leaves.
Flowers: Apricot pink, to light pink, and sometimes white, with a bit of yellow in the center flower with many petals that flowers April to June.
Natural Habitat: Found in a small area east of the Cascades in rocky dry areas.
Why is it good for my garden? This perennial is so very pretty with its large flowers that it would be a great thing to add to any rock garden or sunny, dry area of your garden.
