Description
This subspecies is naturally a variable one, but basically it is in soft yellow or straw shades. This seed-raised strain came from cultivated, yellow seed parents and we thus hope that their progeny will also be in yellow.
Plants are taller than typical nanum with the same nodding, slightly rounded flower shape, with the novel and lovely colouring that sets this subspecies apart.
Variable and seed raised they will almost certainly be yellow, but this cannot be guaranteed. Having said which some superb colour forms have come from this strain which is not only vigorous and virus-free but very attractive.
