Description
This is the rarest of the Western Himalayan Nomocharis-like lilies.
A real charmer with open bells of pale yellow. It is totally distinct in shape and poise from Lilium nanum flavidum in case you are wondering. It is tempting to say that these flowers are “good sized” but in case this makes you think of hybrid trumpets, I should say that I mean “good-sized” for a small species – this plant is no monster. Rather it is a 20 cm gem.
Perfection would be a half-shaded spot with cool humidity, in a well-drained but moisture retentive acid soil with plenty of humus.
