About Patty's Plum - Papaver Orientale Roots

Papaver orientale

Seed Type Root

Named for Patricia Marrow, a gardener that discovered this velvety purple variety of papaver, the Patty's Plum Poppy adds another color of the rainbow to your garden. It's gently ruffled petals surround a dark, rich purple center and an incredibly unique stamen that seems to rise from the center of the bloom. Like other orientale poppies, Patty's Plum is deer resistant and will bloom for weeks.
