“Frosted Curls” is a NZ native, ornamental grass that features slender, hair-like, iridescent foliage that shimmers in light breezes. When allowed to spill over rocky slopes or walls, this plant creates the illusion of falling water. It typically grows to 30 cm tall and 40 cm wide, performing best when planted on a well-drained site in full sun or partial shade. It is tolerant of moderate frost, cool climates, coastal conditions, and dry periods. This grass is commonly used in border plantings, rock gardens, planted around the base of larger plants, mass planted either as a groundcover or on a bank, or simply grown in a container. The high aesthetic value of this plant makes it a popular choice.
