This latest sale comes on the heels of an unopened first-generation iPhone being auctioned at a record-breaking price last month. Fred and Betty Goodwin originally bought the iPod as a Christmas gift, and astonishingly, it remained unopened for an incredible two decades. In its pristine state, the music player still comes in its original packaging, complete with an iPod sleeve and the iconic Blue-coloured Apple Store bag.
