Shane West is SO not happy about Channing Tatum as Gambit

News broke earlier today that Channing Tatum is signed on to play X-Men's Gambit in an upcoming standalone movie, but some people aren't so thrilled with the choice.

For example? Actor Shane West, most recently on CW shows Salem and Nikita, and known for his roles on ABC's Once and Again and 2002's A Walk to Remember. He's not having it. Not. One. Bit.

He first retweeted the news from USA TODAY's own Brian Truitt.

And kept on throwing not-so-subtle shade.
