America Ferrera is bringing her A-game to the 2024 Governors Awards in a menswear-inspired look.

On Tuesday, the Barbie actress, 39, attended the annual event celebrating awards conferred by the Academy's Board of Governors. The ceremony was held at the Ray Dolby Ballroom in Los Angeles to confer honorary Oscars to Angela Bassett, Mel Brooks, and Carol Littleton.

Ferrera kept things chic in a custom black tuxedo with a grosgrain peak lapel. She paired it with matching straight leg trousers, a grosgrain cummerbund and bowtie by Moschino.

Continuing with her classic theme, the Superstore star kept her makeup minimal, opting for a nude lip and a fresh-faced look. Her hair was styled in a bob, parted at the side, with one half swooped behind her ear.

Ferrera added a pop of color with short, red nails.

Her tuxedo was a total departure from the form-fitting icy-gray gown with delicate straps she donned at Sunday’s Golden Globe awards. The dress was embellished with 3-D floral designs.

Her short nails were a muted, natural color.

While onstage with Kevin Costner to present the Golden Globe award for best actress in a musical or comedy series, the Yellowstone actor wowed viewers as he paid tribute to Ferrera with a perfectly memorized Barbie monologue.

"You know, you have a scene that I really love. I think a lot of people really love that scene," he said before reciting the lines.

"You know, 'It’s literally impossible to be a woman.' You know that, 'You're so beautiful. You're so smart and kills me that you don't think you're good enough.' That was pretty good," Costner, 68, continued.

Although the star had many stylish options, the one that she felt like “a badass” in was an all-leather outfit at a Barbie press conference in Seoul, South Korea on July 3.

"I just loved it so much," Ferrera said of the Tanya Taylor top and Veronica Beard pants. "I mean, I've loved so many of the outfits, so it's very hard to pick. But I remember putting this on and being like, 'This is exactly how I feel.'"

She said she felt like a "badass," adding, "I felt strong."

"I love wearing a dress, but there's something about pants and heels that make me feel tall because I'm a whopping 5'2", so I love being in high heels, but a great pant look just feels like that's my true inner look,” Ferrera said.
