Buddleja davidii 'Dartmoor' is a medium sized deciduous shrub with fragrant lavender-mauve flowers formed in long branched panicles during July.  Although tolerant, it prefers a rich, loamy but well drained soil in a sunny spot.  Attractive to butterflies.

Position: Tolerant but prefers a rich well drained site.

Pruning: Prune hard back in spring to pairs of buds before growth restarts.
